15:40
If you or your children have a dairy / lactose allergy / intolerance or are simply vegan / dairy-free by choice, like me, then you will need to think more carefully about your Easter gift ideas for your toddler.
Below are my top picks of the dairy-free Easter eggs available for both Mums and kids, along with some non chocolate ideas for your little ones.
Green and Blacks Easter Eggs
Green and Blacks is undoubtedly the best dark chocolate available, with a creamy velvety texture. You won't miss dairy at all. Also organic.
Large Egg Collection
RRP £9.99
Made from dark chocolate, the thick shelled Dark Egg is accompanied by the more refined flavours of Ginger and Burnt Toffee.

This is a chunky and satisfying egg. Maybe a bit too much chocolate for a young toddler but perfect for Mum!
Medium Egg Collection
RRP £5.59
These smaller eggs are perfect for a child.

There is a classic Dark 70% or a classic Mint egg infused with peppermint oil. Both are divine. The mint is not overly minty- just right.
Available from Waitrose, you can buy the Dark here or Mint here.
Booja Booja Eggs
Booja-Booja Easter Eggs are handmade, handpainted and hand-packed with
delicious handmade chocolate truffles. The truffles are the best tasting chocolate treat that has ecer touched my palate.
The beautiful Easter Collection
is a shared endeavour between a community of artists in Kashmir, India
and the award-winning Norfolk producer of organic, dairy-free, premium
gift chocolates. Booja-Booja has been working with Persian Dowry in Kashmir for more than
ten years, supporting the growth of this community-based business which
champions traditional Kashmiri crafts and employs more than 100
artisans. Persian Dowry makes all Booja-Booja Easter Eggs by hand,
painting each one with great skill, care and attention to produce
exquisite pieces of art that will last for many years. The Eggs are then shipped to Norfolk, where Booja-Booja fill them with organic chocolate truffles.
Based in Norfolk, Booja-Booja makes organic and dairy free treats which are healthier than most and yet more delicious too. Their mantra is wholesome pleasure and at the heart of everything they do is respect for people and the planet; the Easter Collection embodies the spirit of Booja-Booja.
Their products are stocked by Holland and Barrett, Ocado, Waitrose, Planet Organic, Goodness Direct and many others (see stockist list here: http://boojabooja.com/online_stockists.asp)
