FESTIVE MUMMAS I On the sixth day of Christmas
06:00
In the 6th day of Christmas my true love gave to me...
Storytime with me and my babies
Being a busy mum it can be hard to make time for stories sometimes, but there's nothing better than sharing a nice book with your little one. I've read some of the same stories with Ella since she was a baby and these will be passed down to bump. Oliver, despite being very poorly loved being read to and tapping the pages. Even when they're tiny, the sound of your voice can soothe and comfort your little one.
Being Christmas, how about some good Christmas stories...
First up is You & The Watabus, a book that can be fully personalised for your little one which would make an ideal Christmas present. The central character, your child, can be created including hair colour, skin colour, glasses, hair etc and the story will then see them go on an adventure. These books are beautifully illustrated and cost £19.99.
What's even better about these books is that for every book sold £1 will go to Rainbow Trust which is a fabulous charity that help care for families who have a child with a terminal or life threatening illness.
Then we have HOTSHOT: A Really Chilling Tale which is a fab winter's story about a polar bear and his girlfriend who get stuck in the South Pole.
This is a great book for slightly older children and Ella has enjoyed this book a few times since we got it.
And finally, my personal fave is this amazing version of the Night Before Christmas from I See Me.
We were very kindly offered a personalised copy and this has made a brilliant early Christmas gift for Ella. The personalisation in this book is fab and kids young and a bit older will love spotting their names, and names of their family members and home town in the classic story. You can even include a photo and dedication to them in the book.
These cost $34.99 and you can expect delivery within 10 days.
I See Me also do a range of other personalised books that make great presents.
