FESTIVE MUMMAS I On the first day of Christmas

06:00

On the 1st day of Christmas a fairy brought to me..

Some magic that was very sparkly

Our magic fairy door with fairy dust

As you may have seen, we did the Elf on the Shelf 3 years ago and so I really didn't fancy another 24 nights of finding something amusing to do with the elf again... although she did ask Santa in her letter if Buddy the sodding elf could come again.

This year we have opted for this super cute elf door from The Magic Door Store.  This cool mumpreneur company do a range of little doors that don't necessarily have to be for Christmas, just whenever you feel like using yours and your little one's imagination.  It's not surprising they have been recommended by the likes of The Guardian and Good Housekeeping.

On December 1st the fairies had magically appeared overnight with their door, bringing with them an advent calendar.  How did they get the advent calendar through their teeny, tiny door? Well by magic of course!
We have a few other Christmas goodies to arrive during December, and so this will be the magic portal.

I love the idea of using these doors throughout the year, especially with younger ones.
As well as buying the door, you can also buy cute accessories, such as welcome door mats, wreaths etc.

Check out The Magic Door Store where doors start at £16. @magicdoorstore
