HOT MUMMAS | Perfect nudes

A bit of history... In 1930 Max Factor created the first 'pomade' - well, what he hailed as 'lip pomade'.
It was simply, über glossy lipgloss designed for models & actresses to literally shine on the silver screen.

Fast forward 85 yrs, 'noughties' nudes have been developed with the ultra talented and lovely Caroline Barnes, (I've  had the pleasure of shooting with). Max Factors 'Nude pomade' collection is here to boast all its juicy wearability and perfect in time for S/S 14. Consisting of four on-trend nudes, there's a neutral shade for everyone.

And these pastel beauty's will be hard pressed to NOT suit anyone.

A fair maiden myself, ive been sporting glowing peach in the day, followed by pristine nude a darker warm toffee hue.

Radiant rose would look best on dark and olive skins, as on fair, even with a few layers it's opacity is still very light, it's really pretty, almost iridescent and multi-tonal, with lots of lilac and baby pink specks.

Lustrous sand is a lovely latte shade and would look warm and glossy on dark skins but juicy with depth on lighter.

And top it off the scent of these delicious glosses are reminiscent of sweeties/toffee - de-lic-ious!

Left to right (clockwise)

Lustrous Sand
Radiant Rose
Glowing Peach
Pristine Nude

Bare-ing (sorry, couldn't help it) in mind all dependant on your base lip colour is how the hue will finally stand out. Mine is a very dark pink, with purple undertones so light hues tend to dissipate and unless a strong coverage, go unnoticed. Which is why lustrous sand & glowing peach (both on left) gave the best finish off me.

Go nude!
